the extraordinary motorsport, it aptly describes this one.
Raid De Himalaya stretches the endurance of the man and his
machine to extreme limits. In it's third year, the event has
evolved into a 3,000 kms stretch, winding from Shimla to Kargil
and back.The 3rd Maruti Raid-De-Himalaya Motorsports Rally
was flagged off from Shimla on October 6, 2001 with over 60
participants.

The Raid-De-Himalaya is a speed and an endurance rally. It
is the ultimate test for man and machine against the forces
of nature and the might of the Himalayas. The deserving winners
were Aier and his co-driver Vikshey from Nagaland on their
Gypsy King. Decisively The Maruti Gypsy passed the test with
flying colours.
